Originaria de la India y México, la planta de tuberosa llegó a Europa alrededor de 1500. Sus flores blancas crecen en racimos y liberan su intensa fragancia al atardecer. En algunas tradiciones, la flor de tuberosa se asocia con la sensualidad. Esta agua de colonia se abre con ylang-ylang, jazmín y flores de naranjo amargo, se desarrolla a través de tuberosa, pimienta negra y clavo, y se asienta en madera de cedro, benjuí, sándalo y estoraque.
