Geïnspireerd door een geparfumeerd handschoenpoeder dat in de late 17e eeuw in de mode was, wordt Marescialla geassocieerd met de gravin d'Aumont en wordt het genoemd in De Tijgerkat van Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Deze Eau de Cologne, gedocumenteerd in de Officina sinds 1828, opent met citrus en foelie, ontwikkelt zich door cederhout en centifoliaroos en nestelt zich in sandelhout, patchouli en eikenmos.
