Gelsomino Fluid Body Cream, based on a composition rooted in Jasmine of the Grand Duke, originally gifted to Cosimo III de' Medici in 1688. Scented with jasmine sambac, bergamot, tangerine, pink pepper, geranium and cedarwood. Floral and spiced.

Description

Originally from Goa, the Jasmine of the Grand Duke was gifted by King Peter II of Portugal to Cosimo III de' Medici in 1688. Cosimo had a dedicated greenhouse built for it at Villa di Castello, known as the Stufa dei Mugherini, reserved for his personal botanists. Formulated with vegetable oils and butters, it softens and conditions the skin while prolonging and intensifying the composition. From I Giardini Medicei. Pairs with the Gelsomino Bath Gel.

How to use

Apply to clean, dry skin morning and evening. Press the lid gently to dispense without unscrewing. Massage in circular movements from bottom to top to maximise absorption. Complete the routine with Gelsomino Bath and Shower Gel.

Steven ★★★★★

The bergamot and tangerine notes give it such a bright opening before the jasmine settles in—it's like wearing a summer garden. It sinks in fast and leaves my skin feeling soft without any greasy film, which is exactly what I wanted for daily use.

Steven A. ★★★★★

The texture sinks in fast without any greasy film, which is exactly what I need before getting dressed. The jasmine sambac note is elegant but not overpowering, and the bergamot gives it a little brightness that lasts for hours.

Natalie Q. ★★★★★

The citrus notes hit first, then the jasmine settles in soft and warm—lasts on my skin for hours without ever feeling heavy. I keep catching whiffs of it during the day and it honestly makes me smile.
