Vaniglia Eau de Cologne, named after vanilla, known to the Aztecs as the black pod. Opens with lemon, bergamot and orange. Jasmine and vanilla at the heart. Vanilla, sweet woods and benzoin at the base. Warm and sweet.

Description

Vanilla is a species of the orchid family native to Central America, used in sacred beverages combined with cocoa before entering European perfumery via 16th century trade routes. The plant’s seed pods yield a resinous, balsamic extract documented in medicinal and culinary traditions across multiple cultures. This Eau de Cologne opens with lemon, bergamot and orange, establishes a heart of jasmine and vanilla, and settles into sweet woods, vanilla and benzoin.

Benjamin T. ★★★★★

The first spray hits with a bright, zesty burst of citrus that settles quickly into a cozy, warm vanilla and sweet woods. I caught the benzoin in the base clinging to my scarf the next morning, which made the whole thing feel like a soft, lingering hug.

George O. ★★★★★

The dry-down is where this really shines—the vanilla and benzoin blend into a warm, almost resinous sweetness that lasts for hours on my skin. The jasmine keeps it from being too heavy, so it feels cozy rather than cloying.

Michael ★★★★☆

The dry-down is where this shines—the vanilla and benzoin blend into a soft, sweet woodiness that lasts most of the day on my skin. I just wish the opening citrus stuck around a bit longer before fading.
