Tabacco Toscano Room Fragrance Diffuser, named after Tuscan tobacco known as Herba catharinaria, a remedy of Caterina de' Medici. Scented with bergamot, Tuscan tobacco leaves, leather, amber, birchwood, cedarwood and musk. Smoky and woody.

Description

Tuscan tobacco, traditionally cured with wood smoke, gives the composition its intense and leathery character. Cultivated and documented in the Florentine region since the 16th century, it reached the Medici court through botanical and trade networks. The room fragrance diffuser carries a smoky and woody accord of bergamot, Tuscan tobacco leaf, leather, amber, birchwood, cedarwood, guaiacum, sandalwood and vanilla. From the Firenze 1221 collection.

How to use

Remove the cap and insert the 8 wooden sticks into the bottle. Allow them to absorb the fragrance for at least three hours before turning them to begin diffusion. Adjust the intensity by varying the number of sticks. Turn periodically to maintain diffusion. Place on a stable surface away from direct heat sources.

Walked into my living room after the first hour and genuinely thought someone had lit a cigarillo — that leather and birchwood mix is deep, not sweet at all. The bergamot keeps it from getting heavy, and the scent’s still going strong on day three.

The scent hits that perfect balance between the sweet bergamot and the smoky leather and birchwood—it's warm without being overpowering in my living room. I’ve had it out for three weeks and the fragrance is still going strong, which is more than I can say for other diffusers I’ve tried.

This diffuser’s exactly what I wanted for my entryway—the Tuscan tobacco and leather notes come through strong without being perfumey, and the bergamot keeps it fresh on top. The birchwood gives it a warm, smoky depth that’s been filling the whole room for two weeks now, with no drop-off in intensit
